We Take Safety Seriously
To ensure jobsite safety, Carntribe has established safety and health policiies in place, provides on-going training for employees and meets all federal, state and local safety regulations.
Carntribe, LLC is committed to ensuring the safety of the men and women working on every one of our job sites. It is a priority to us. We follow all OSHA and USACE Safety and Health Requirements. Our company complies with all local, state and federal safety standards, codes and regulations. For every project, our #1 goal is Zero Accidents. Safety training and implementation is ongoing. Our company has developed a detailed and thorough company-wide safety and health policy that is implemented on all projects. Our management's commitment to safety is shown through example; by incorporating safety into day-to-day activities.
We believe that every employee has a responsibility for safety on a project. Each employee is thoroughly trained in safety and Carntribe implements an innovated safety incentive program that further promotes safety awareness and policy adherence among employees. "Safety Bucks" are given to employees with superior safety and attendance on each project where there are no OSHA recordable accidents, tardies or loss work days on a jobsite. "Safety Bucks" can be used to purchase items such as company logo specialties. On site, project teams hold daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings and weekly Site Tool Box Talk safety meetings. Topics at the Tool Box Talk Safety meetings change weekly to cover general safety or specific safety concerns.
Additionally, Carntribe develops project-specific Accident Prevention Plans according to the requirements of the agency for which we are working. These ensure that our policies and procedures are relevant and specifically address the safety concerns of each project. By making the health and safety of our workers a top priority, we continue to provide an atmosphere where our workers can perform efficiently and to the utmost of their ability.
Project Managers and Supervisors are held accountable for the safety of each of our projects. The Site Supervisors are all given the proper level of OSHA, federal, state and local safety training to enable them to serve as the Safety Manager of the jobsite. They are responsible for the implementation of the overall company safety plan, as well as the site-specific Accident Prevention Plan. The safety managers are taught to recognize hazards and unsafe working conditions and respond appropriately, and are also given the necessary authority to do so.
Carntribe has had no recordable lost days or incidences in the last five years. Our curent EMR rating is 1.0
